I love GreenDays 1039 and Kerplunk, much better than almost anything they did after they got on a major label

Idol- the only punk I care for. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I didn't really think the Ramones were punk, but they are pretty good.

The Misfits are the greatest punk band I believe.
The Sex Pistols were trash. They couldnt play, sing nor write.
The Ramones and The Clash are two who are I feel legends, but just not as to my taste.

Bands like the Dead Kennedys, Fugazi, Nirvana (yes, Nirvana was and is a punk band) Circle Jerks, Aqua Bats, The Germs etc. Are pretty well known and well liked punk bands.

Simple Plan, Good Charlotte and New Found Glory are not punk bands.

Im not huge huge punk fan, I find most of it garbage.

My favorites however have to be the misfits and dropkick murphys.

I believe the Misfits as wel lare the greatest punk band ever. But IMO I believe the Clash is right behind them.
